Background Information
Payloads, also referred to as attachments, are any additional piece of hardware that can be attached to the Spot robot to extend its functionality and customize Spot for specific tasks. Boston Dynamics offers a wide range of Payloads, including configurations for inspection, public safety, and R&D needs. Owners of Spot can also develop their own payloads using the official developer guide and official Payload SDK.
