Background
The Shark IONFlex 2X is a lightweight, cordless vacuum released in 2017. It features a combination of a bristle brush and soft roller designed to clean fine dust and small and large particles on both carpets and floors. The wand flexes for compact storage and provides flexible reach for easy cleaning under furniture. The Shark IONFlex 2X comes with two lithium-ion batteries, both removable and rechargeable. The vacuum also includes batteries and a charger.
The main differences between the original IONFlex and the IONFlex 2X is that the IONFlex 2X comes with 2 lithium ion rechargeable batteries opposed to 1 battery on the original model. Additionally the IONFlex 2X is different than another model, the corded Flex DuoClean model, in that it is battery operated instead of operating on corded household AC voltage.
Identification
The model number is found on the back of the device below the battery ejection slot. The manufacturer tag indicates a model number of IF251.
