Identification and Background
The Nokia 8265 cell phone is a model developed from the Nokia 8210 series models, and succeeded the 8260 design.
The new features of the 8265 included picture messaging and a white backlight for the display.
To make sure and verify that you do in fact have the Nokia 8265 model, open the back of the phone and take out the battery. On the inside part of the back of the phone under where the battery was, it will say the model number of 8265.
