Background
The Mr. Rice SC-887 rice cooker is a multi-functional device, allowing users to stew soup, steam vegetables, cook rice, porridge, fish, and poultry. It has a capacity of six cups and features automatic shut-off and an independent warm switch. Users should be aware that the cooking time is determined by the amount of water used. At least one cup of water must be added to the device before cooking, but more may be added if desired. Three- dimensional heating prevents food from burning. Identification
The Mr. Rice SC-887 measures 12 in long × 9.37 in wide × 9.84 in high and is made of stainless steel. A black plastic control panel with a gray flip power switch is located on the front of the device, with the Mr. Rice logo printed in white near the top. Handles are located on both sides near the top of the body, and plastic feet raise the device so the bottom does not rest on the work surface. The serial and model number SC-887 are printed on a white label on the bottom of the device.
