Identification and Background
The Microsoft Zune 30 GB is Microsoft's first portable media player, released in November 2006. Available in Black, Brown, and Pearl White, the Zune 30 GB has a 30 gigabyte hard drive and can play music, movies, games, and FM radio. In November 2007, an updated 80 gigabyte version, the Zune 80 GB, was released. The Zune 80 GB has a slightly larger screen, slimmer case, and twice the battery life.
