Background and Identification
The Lorex LW2742 is a security camera system that is part of the LW1740 / LW2740 series. This model was released in October of 2014. The system can be identified by the manufacturer's sticker on the back of the video monitor reading "Model No.: LW2742."
The Lorex LW2742 standard package includes a 7" LCD monitor with a rechargeable battery and two weather resistant wireless cameras. The system is expandable up to four cameras. The cameras are capable of night time viewing up to 65 feet and have a wireless range of 150 feet indoors and 450 feet outdoors. This version of the Lorex has 2x digital zoom and listen-in audio monitoring. Also included with this model are metal camera stands, a 32GB microSD memory card, a mounting hardware kit, and power adapters.
