HP EliteBook 840 G9 Repair

The model and serial number (S/N) of your HP laptop are printed on the bottom cover. This laptop will have HP EliteBook 840 G9 printed just below the ProdID.

If you can't read the information on the bottom of your laptop, you can get the model and serial number of your laptop via software. The first option is to open the HP Systems Information window. To do this, simultaneously press the Function (Fn) and Escape (Esc) keys. The window should open and display your product information. A second option is to check through Windows Settings. First, click the Windows Start button and select Settings (the gear icon). Then, navigate to System > About and scroll down to see your device specifications.
