Background and Identification
DROCON released the Ninja DC-014 drone in June of 2018. The drone is marketed towards a target audience primarily for beginners, offering beginner modes that help the user fly the drone with ease. The additional altitude controls allow for the customer to customize the drone to their comfort level. The Drone can also connect to the user’s mobile device by having the customer download the DROCON app. The associated app is compatible with Apple devices, IOS 8.0 or later, or Android devices 5.0 or later. The drone’s camera is capable of connecting to the app and showing a live video feed of the surroundings while airborne. A small controller with an attachment for your phone is included with the DROCON Ninja and is powered by AAA batteries. DROCON has released three versions of the FPV drone. However, the Ninja DC-014 sets itself apart from the others as it is the only FPV drone with foldable propellers. Reviews of the drone are relatively positive and customers appreciate the affordability of the Ninja in comparison to other drones on the market today. Many customers, however, complain that the low battery life can negatively affect the overall usability of the product.
