How to fix boot loop?

When i plug it into my charger it doesent show the emty battery it just shows the apple logo and turns off then again trns on and on and on. Help.

Depending on the generation it's likely the battery is just worn out.

Can you narrow down the model look at the back for a model number or compare the image and spaces from this listing iPod Models
