New face id and camera

As long as your phone is updated to iOS 18 or later, you can replace the front camera and keep your Face ID functional. However, it will only work with a genuine Apple part; aftermarket parts are not supported by the Repair Assistant that is used to pair the new camera to the phone. The part can be new or used, but be aware that if you get a used part, the original phone it came from cannot be reported as lost or stolen.
