I have gotten this DSi from someone and I want to try and fix it. The problem is, every time I turn it on, both the screens are pure white with maybe a few lines that are blue and yellow. The sounds, hinge, and buttons work fine. How do I fix this?

At this moment it’s hard to say if it is the screen or something motherboard related.
I always would test with a new screen first and see how that works out. I would start with the top screen as this one is showing lines.
Otherwise a motherboard replacement is required. This one is more expensive but easier to replace and test.
Before you are going to replace anything, please open it up and check the cables. Do they look fine? Please clean the motherboard with isopropyl alcohol and also the connectors, then try again.
Hopefully a new screen would do something…

Hi koppie007, sorry for the late response. I had to deal with two stripped screws with one still stuck and both of which were under the rubber part. Best I can show is in this position. Is there anything wrong that you can see? Refer to the 3rd and 4th image I just added.
Hi! No problem at all! I can see a few hairs in it and that the wifi chip did came off from the motherboard. Recommended to clean it inside first! Did you took the wifi chip off? If not, please put it back on when you have the chance to do this :).
