Lens dosent close properly and causes weird sounds
The lens of the camera dosent close fully and need me to press down on it, and makes weird cracking sounds when it closes. There are no problems with opening or turning it on tho

@kartikeyab29629 sounds like some gear issue with the lens drive motor. Since internal lens parts are not easily found, nor are there any guides for the lens itself, I would replace the complete lens. Use this guide Nikon Coolpix S3100 Camera Lens Replacement for that.
