Screen Replacement - WiFi Only vs WiFi+Cellular?

I just ordered an iPad Air 13” 2024 wifi+cellular screen without checking my customer's model and have realized they have a wifi only iPad. It does not look like the site I bought the screen from even have a wifi only version listed (except for OEM). Will the wifi+cellular version display assembly work on my wifi model or do I need a wifi only version? Looking for answers based on experience, not assumptions please and thank you.

Update (11/07/25)

Surprisingly, the package label does not specify the "version" like the website does. I also noted that Aliexpress screens seemed to infer the screens for wifi (A2898) and wifi+cellular (A2899) were the same. So, unless somebody for sure knows differently, I think I'm going to take a stab at doing this screen repair with this screen.

I took a look at this earlier, but did not comment since I don’t have practical evidence with this specific repair. I do have a lot of practice with other iPads and various Apple devices though

Everything in my brain says these should be fine. My only concern might be cable length since sometimes they change things around when extra antennas or a SIM tray are needed. But I can’t imagine the screens themselves are any different. I would say give it a go and let us know how it goes.
