Display issues and error code 255-1
Playing PS5 games on a PS5 Digital causes screen flickering and error code 255-1, but playing the PS3 port of God of War 3 on a PS5 does not. What's going on?

Do you mean error code: CE-108255-1?
This one is related the game or app crashed due corrupted data.
Which games are having issues?? Or all of them? I would reinstall the game and see if that works. If not? Then I would format the console (make sure you make a back up first!!!), and reinstall the software.
If that fails as well with all the games, it's probably SSD related... You can try to put in a M.2. SSD install the game there and try it again.
If that also fails, you might want to take a look at the SSD. The only issue is, that it's soldered on the motherboard, so some serious soldering skills and equipment are required to replace it.

Yes, playing native games causes screen flickering and error code 255-1, and it happens with games like Sheep Hoof Mountain Soul and Cosmic Robot. I've tried everything mentioned above without adding a hard drive. Anyway, playing backward-compatible games is fine, but playing native games causes screen flickering and error codes. I asked surrounding experts and they all say the APU is not suitable. ...
It could be APU related. I would try to get a M.2. SSD (as a external USB drive won't work) and try the games from there. Still having issues? It could be APU related then.
