Red light on computer will not start

A red light on your Lenovo IdeaPad 1-15ADA7 that won't start usually means a power or battery issue. Here's how to troubleshoot:

1 Perform a Hard Reset: Unplug the charger and remove the battery if possible (some IdeaPads have non-removable batteries). Hold the power button for 30–60 seconds to drain residual power. Reconnect the battery (if removed) and charger, then try turning it on

2 Check the Power Adapter and Charging Port: Make sure the charger is plugged into a working outlet and the laptop's port. Inspect the charger and cable for damage. Try another compatible charger if you have one. A blinking red light while charging might mean a bad adapter or DC-in jack

3 Test Without Battery: If the battery is removable, take it out and try running the laptop on just the AC adapter. If it starts, the battery might be bad and need replacing
