DFU in FS mode

My FixHub Portable Power Station bricked up. I tried to connect the station using DFU mode, guesing to rewrite firmware. When I connect the station, hear a chime that a USB device has connected to the computer. In Devices Manager I see new device DFU in FS mode, but on FixHub web console do not see any compatible device. Is there any possibility to upload firmware stright to STM32 using some dfu-util, not using web console?

@audrius42400, Some browsers don't support the Web Serial communication protocols needed to communicate with the FixHub and update the FW. Have you tried running the web-console connection via either Brave, Chrome, Edge, or Opera browser? 如何使用计算机调整 FixHub

You right, Johnny. And you can easily check this by connecting a smart soldering iron. It is not my case. Thanks Johnny.

It is interesting that the device is connecting but not recognizable. I would recommend that we RMA that unit so we can troubleshoot the issue. @Kris Rodriguez can help get that started for you.

Dear all, not sure I will get replacement.

More light on it.

As you know, the portalbe power station do not work well with samsung phones like charging power bank. Doing research on it I bricked my portable power station. STM32 was dead. I know the mistake I did, checked surounding components, everything OK exept STM32. So I changed STM32 to new one and STM32 totaly empty now. So it's no wonder the station isn't recognized cause all three memory blocks are empty. I understand your reluctance to solve this problem remotely, but "Right to repair" ...

Thanks for clarifying. That certainly impacts how we are able to proceed. Unfortunately, in order to load the FW from here additional equipment that is custom for the FixHub production line would be needed. As such we aren't able to send out that equipment to support you in this repair. At this time the best course of action we'd be able to take is either replacing the entire unit or we can send you a replacement PCBA. The large chip (STM32L5) on the bottom of the PowerStation is the main processor for the unit, and handles all the functionality as well as the rear-port communications. Because the device was able to connect to the computer and show up as a device on the COM list, I believe that the L5 was working properly, but perhaps the battery or the screen was not working properly. If you re-solder the original processor back in place, and re-charge the battery, it should come back online. If you want to re-flash the firmware yourself, you'd need to solder on a 10-pin FPC connector to the pads on the bottom of the board, near the battery connector.

I have seen reports of this behavior between some laptops (specifically Dell XPS or Precision Series) and the Power Station, and the issue can be resolved by using a USB-C to USB-A cable (you can use a converter to go back down to USB-C if you only have USB-C ports on your computer). Don't use the USB-C to USB-C cable that came with the station and iron, as that attempts to go into a PD mode that the power station can't handle.
