iPhone 3G是第二代iPhone。型号A1241,有8或16 GB容量,和炫酷的黑色或洁白的白色塑料背面。修复比第一款iPhone更简单。需要螺丝刀、撬撬工具和吸尘工具。

Where is the orientation sensor?

Can someone tell me which part of the iPhone 3G contains the orientation sensor? Is it the power button/headphones/volume switch ribbons?

The iPhone I have here won't rotate and I don't believe iPhone 3G has the rotation lock capability.

Tam BM, you are right with not having a rotation lock. Anyhow, the attached images shows you the location of the LIS331DL accelerometer which is responsible for the portrait/landscape rotation. I would try to restore my firmware and see if that will make a difference in regards to the rotation. Hope this helps to get you started. Good Luck

Ahh so the actual logic board is responsible for this and there is no way to simply replace an inexpensive part to fix the problem? Ok I will try a restore but I am not hopeful. Thanks for your responses everyone :)

Yes, it is part of the logic board. I can imagine it is frustrating....hope you got some luck.
