Hi @acegod2p

If the laptop is not indicating that the battery is being charged when the charger is connected to the laptop, use a DMM (digital multimeter) to verify that there's 19.5V DC on the output plug of the charger.

If the charger is OK, the laptop model seems to be a fairly new, is this correct?

If it is and if it still covered by the manufacturer's warranty, contact the Acer service centre in your location and get it fixed under warranty

If it isn't under warranty anymore, then you may have to try and fix it yourself.

It could be a loose or faulty DC-In jack, (what the charger plugs into) in the laptop. (example only to show image of the part)

It is soldered to the motherboard so once the laptop has been opened, you would need to disassemble it so that the motherboard can be removed and the DC-In jack test and replaced if necessary. If the jack is OK then there's a motherboard problem and further testing would be required to find out what's wrong.

Alternatively, if you don't want to open the laptop, you could just purchase a ROG 100W USB-C charger (examples only) an use that (plugged into a USB-C port in the laptop) to charge and run the laptop.
