How to replace 2005 Chevy Malibu alternator?

nepplpaul, you forgot to tell us what engine you need the information for. Here is the info for 4 cyl from here:

"Disconnect negative battery cable.

Remove the air cleaner resonator.

Remove the drive belt.

Remove the radiator inlet hose.

Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the alternator.

Reposition the engine wiring harness lead rubber boot.

Remove the engine wiring harness terminal lead to alternator nut.

Remove the engine wiring harness terminal from the alternator stud.

Remove the alternator bolts.

Remove the alternator.
