going to standby mode
my projector goes to standby mode after 20 sec on start up. The only way to restart it is when you unplug the power and reconect. Any ideas ?

Here's the service manual for the projector.
Go to p.7 to view the self check mode procedure and check if that shows what the problem is.

Many thanks for your help. Unfortunately the test cannot be completed before going to standby mode
Is the fan operating?
Yes, cannot see any issues
If the projector lamp doesn't turn on follow the troubleshooting on p.35.
If the lamp does light, follow the "if a shutdown occurs" troubleshooting on p.37.
You will need a DMM (digital multimeter) to perform some checks and know how to use it safely when testing for high voltage i.e. 380V DC - so be safety aware.
