Adjustment spring fallen off

Hello, I have ran into an another problem with my camera, while I was fixing the lens which I was able to do, the little spring that helps you lock selected modes in place has fallen off, I really do not know how to put it back there to such a little space. I know @dadibrokeit did it but I do not know how. Please send me a more detailed explanation of it thank you.
