Keyboard is not working

hello, the keyboard on my logitech folio touch is no longer working when an ipad air is in the case. the keyboard back light, typing, etc. all dead. any ideas what might be causing it and/or how it could be fixed?

I have the same exact issue , and so I contacted Logitech support, and obviously they only offered me a 30% discount to buy smth new because it’s been 3 months over the warranty expiry. I then told them that can they please forward my request to the higher authorities, cause paying 200 dollars and only after 1 year and 3 months not working so I deserve a replacement, so maybe try contacting them. I’ve tried absolutely every thing for almost 6 hrs, not working.

Out-of-Warranty Repairs and Australian Consumer Law

Under the ACL, products must be of acceptable quality, which includes being durable and free from defects. If a product fails to meet these standards, consumers are entitled to a remedy, even if the manufacturer's warranty has expired. For instance, if a product develops a fault that a reasonable consumer wouldn't expect within its expected lifespan, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. ​

There have been instances where consumers have successfully obtained replacements for out-of-warranty Logitech products by referencing their rights under the ACL. Persistence and clear communication about your consumer rights can be effective.

Try cleaning the "Smart Connector" in the case, I unfortunately ended up having 2 cases die but had this issue quite commonly, the case is nearly impossible to repair
