Unfortunately we don't have a guide to your repair here on iFixit, but I have to give HP credit for making their Maintenance and Service Guides available to the public for the purpose of repairing their computers. Here's their link to the guide for your laptop.

The chapter on removing the Display Assembly and then the LCD starts on page 50.
If you end up going ahead with your repair, be sure to take lots of pictures as you work. Once you've finished, you can use those pictures to make your very own iFixit guide to the screen replacement on an HP 14-dq0055dx laptop.
