Screen and Hinge Repair

Hello, I have a HP Envy x360 Convertible 13-ay0xxx laptop and my right hinge broke and cracked my laptop’s screen too while closing/opening the laptop.

Product Number: 9VT59UA#ABL

I need help to find the correct parts to buy (shipping to Canada) and I am unsure if simply buying a screen replacement will do the job to adjust hinge correctly.

Will it be possible to have a repair guide to replace broken hinge/screen please?

I was also looking to possibly replace the battery for a new one.

I have reviewed your video.

You should know: your hinge is not broken, your LCD back panel is what broke. If you replace the hinges, you're not going to solve the problem and instantly this will happen again.

I do not know about vendors in and/or shipping to Canada, so I can't help you there. But you likely need the following part numbers:

LCD Cover: L94498-001
LCD Screen: L23211-001

These are the part numbers as seen from my supplier. Please note that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you take apart your screen and find the part numbers (should be the same format as my examples, but possibly different numbers) on your exact computer before ordering replacements, as it is possible the Canada market has different parts than the US market.
