Is it possible to replace a broken keyboard?
Hi.
I have a Lenovo U530 Touch and its keyboard doesn't work. Does anyone know if it's possible to replace just the keyboard part?
Or has anyone tried replacing it and can help me with some tips, please?
yes, its possible to replace ONLY the keyboard for the Lenovo IdeaPad U530 Touch
you will need:
-screwdriver set
-a soldering iron (and a knife and zipties if you are planning NOT to reuse the rivets)
-a new keyboard

for USA model: https://www.ebay.com/itm/402732610342
for EU model: not avaliable
PS: replacing the keyboard ONLY is a great way to save money and reduce E-waste but if your not experienced or just dont have time then i recommend buying the palmrest set
