How do you replace the volume button?
The Volume button on my pixel 7 fell off. Is there a guide to attaching a replacement?

To anyone who came across this, my power button had fallen out. I was able to use this from amazon and was able to just snap it back in without disassembling anything.

Good to know, Quinn, thanks for your input! Sometimes it's hard to tell whether a button can be accessed from the outside or not. On Apple phones, you always have to remove the interior components to replace a button, but obviously that's not always true for other brands.
I'm so happy you posted this as my lock button fell out after I dropped it a year ago but it fell out 2 weeks ago and came to check on how to replace it as I bought a new one from amazon

Follow the motherboard replacement guide. After removing the motherboard, there are 2 - T3 screws holding the power and volume buttons that will need to be removed.

This guide will get you 98% of the way there; it's intended to show how to remove the circuit board that holds the electromechanical part of the buttons, but you would need to remove it to get to the physical push buttons themselves anyway.
