Gameboy Pocket Boot Loop

My gameboy pocket is boot looping. The Nintendo logo comes on and so does the sound but then it does it again and again. What could cause this issue? All I have done is repair a broken via and replaced corroded battery contacts.

Also the power led won’t turn on so if you know how to fix that too I would appreciate it.
