Phone will not charge

@johngonsal81566 you are not telling us why you think it i the charging port. It may as well be but let us know why you think so. For now, I would suggest that you follow the Samsung Flow chart for the not charging.

Now I do not have a searchable version of the schematic. You'll have to scour through the board images.

U7016 is on the board view. Now you just have to get the eplist for your phone.

If it is the charging port, might as well go ahead and change the charging board (sub_board). Since iFixit does not yet have a specific guide for that, use something like this video The board is available at many online stores.

While you work on your phone, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit.
