The only other thing I would consider is to replace the sub_board (charging board) as well as checking the flex cable that connects the sub_board to the main board. Since iFixit does not yet have a specific guide for this, use this one for the battery and this one for the sub_board. Both of these guides are written in Spanish. Use a browser that will do the translation for you.

While you work on your phone, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit.
