Why is my computer display not working?
My computer display is not working despite the CPU start up being normal. Checked all the cables and even tried a different monitor , but the issue persisted. This is a recurring problem which usually resolves on cleaning the RAM slot, but this time it didn't work.
Anyone who can help please?
What is the specific model of your PC?
Do you have only the Integrated graphics, or a Radeon graphics card, or have you upgraded it?
Is the monitor plugged in and turned on? Does it immediately go to sleep or say no cable connected? Is it on the right input? Does it do anything when you turn on the computer?
What sort of video cable are you using (VGA, DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort)?
When you turn on the computer, what does it do, and how do you know it's 'start up being normal'?
With needing to clean the ram slot, how are you doing this?
