Battery not charging correctly

When plugging in my charger into the port, most time it shows that it's fast charging and then it stops charging. I move the charger around and it shows uts charging. Switch charger and same problem. It's my device and not the cord being used.seems like a loose port. I can try to fix it myself. Are there any ideas or advice in finding a good solution?
