My laptop is not charging when I plug it in. I've tried plugging in and out the charging port, and I tested the charger with another laptop. There's no visible damage on the charging port either, it seems perfectly fine. The light isn't lighting up on the charger, even though it does on the other one. What could be wrong?
It ran out of battery ages ago. Also, the display wire, hinges and clutch cover are broken.

When you plug in the MagSafe charger does the connector LED lighting up, if it is what color is it Amber or Green?

@hamzas - Do you have access to a second charger? As it’s either dead or the MagSafe Port’s dirty or bad being the most likely issue.
Yes. none of them are working with the mba. I know they work because I have a 2012 unibody mbp i tested them on.
@hamzas - Then the MagSafe port is either dirty or bad MacBook Air Models A1237 and A1304 DC-In Board Replacement

@hamzas Is it fair to assume it is not starting up when connect to a Magsafe power adapter?

@hamzas So three is absolutely no light (no Amber or no Green light). No sign of life when you plug it in etc.? The MBA appears to be totally "dead"?

@hamzas let's see if a different Magsafe will work for you :-) keeping our fingers crossed but still having some major doubts. There just seem to be a lot going on with your MBA
