Unable to remove stripped screw from 3DS XL using screw extractor

I’ve decided to try and fix my 3DS as I have a bad B button. Upon opening the back panel I remove the battery and one of the screws is already stripped? I never taken this 3DS apart before and I think I made it significantly worst and I’m unsure on how I can get it out. I’ve spent money already on screw extractors but this 2mm extractor doesn’t seem to be drilling into the stripped screw. I’ve tried the rubberband but my screw driver and drill just go right through it and rips a hole. Anyone have any other ideas on what I can do??

You can get steel-loaded epoxy putty which is very strong. It comes as a stick and you cut off a bit and nead it in your hands until the two parts are throughly mixed. Then press it into the screw head (clean it with isopropyl alcohol first to make sure there are no traces of grease). Before it sets, press a screwdriver bit into it to make a new screw head. Let it set for 24-48 hours then try with the same screwdriver bit, pressing as hard as you can.

@dirkhardpeck and if rubber bands and epoxy do not work, it'll be time to drill out the screw. First you need a bit the size of the inside of the Phillips head (red circle). That will keep the bit true and won't run off. Once you have that pilot hole drilled, get a slightly bigger bit (turquoise circle) and drill into the screw. It will not take long until the screw head will fall off. Once you have the casing deparated, use a pair of pliers to replace the rest of the screw,
