Broken Battery Connector Replacement. Is this Usable?

My battery connector on my early 2015 13 inch macbook air broke off after an unfortunate accident. After doing a bit of research, I decided to try soldering a replacement on to my motherboard. I bought one on ebay but after it arrived, it was damaged. One of the pins at the end seems smushed and the little bump at the top of each pin (I dont know what its called) are all scattered and not aligned. Should I still try to solder it on the board or will it just not work?

@joseph72851 don't use a part that is doubtful. Get a proper replacement, that way you only have to do the job ones. No reason to use poor quality parts. As you already know, your part is a WTB-PWR-M82 conector and looks like it is readily available.

Are the bumps just solder? Likely a recovered part from a dead system.

Use a iron and solder-wick to remove them. I see no problems using a used connector here if the bumps come off.

Afterwards if it’s not working get a new one, I’m betting it will be fine!
