i recently just found my mom's old samsung s760:), and It's been awhile since she last used it. I added some new AA batteries and I pressed the power button thingy but it still wouldn't open. What do i need to do to open it?

@aceleendin18659 make sure that there is no corrosion on the battery contacts inside the camera. Make sure that the battery door has all the contacts and is not corroded. After that you may have to open the camera up and take a look at the wiring and the DC-DC board. etc. Use these guides Samsung S760 to work on it.
On the bottom of your main circuit board is a power fuse. check that one for continuity.
While you work on your camera, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit. That will help the next person that has the same problem as you do.
