Has any one else experienced a dark shadow in middle of the screen for fast moving images for a samsung tv?
Samsung support tell me this is normal and can only be adjusted through the picture clarity settings which when adjusted make no difference. I have had lower spec older tvs that don’t have this issue!

@willfeathe56923 is this shadow there at all times or do you just notice this on "fast moving images"? This looks like an issue with the backlight and yes, I do believe that this is what Samsung considers normal.
Yours looks like issues with the dimming zones. and there really is not anything you can do, other than "hiding" this area through a change in the settings.
That is the trouble with all the latest and greatest new technology, There just is not much that we the consumer can do to fix it.

Many thanks for the reply, yes it’s mainly on fast moving images. Could you advise on the change of settings to “hide” the area?
