I have the same problem on my Samsung QA75Q60RAWXXY. I have unplugged all cables, TV was plugged into a surge protector and I removed it and plugged power directly into the wall. I tuned off and held the power button for 30 secs and powered on again.

Help please

@debi91941 there are a few things that can "makes a clicking sound then turns off" cause this. The clicking is most likely a really on the power board. This could be a main board issue as well as a Panel issue. I suggest that you check a few things. First would be to remove the back cover (unplug your TV) then take a look at tall of the boards. Take a couple of pictures of those boards and post them with your Question. That way we can see what you see Check for obvious damaged/charred or missing components. The disconnect the main board from the power board. Now plug your TV in. This should get the backlights to come on. You can see those light up through the numerous holes in the back sheet meatal of the panel.

Let us know what you find out.

Update (12/12/23)

@debi91941 great! Since your back lights come on without the main board, it is almost guaranteed that your power board is okay. Now, time to check the rest of the connections.

You will need to measure the voltages on CNM802 against the values shown on the power supply (Blue rectangle). This is pretty much to check if the main board tells the power board to turn on. All of those voltages are DC voltages. SOmetimes it is hard to get the probe from the multimeter into the connector or onto the wires/pins. I have used sewing needles in the connectors before that allowed me to make contact etc.

I am sorry that I can not tell you the pin order, but I can't see those when I zoom in. You could consider posting another pictures that focus more on that area.

One more thing, if at all possible, it would be great if you can take a picture of how all of the boards are arranged in the back and of all the interconnect ribbon cables. That gives us an idea of what the layout looks like.

Pictures have been added. I could not see anything obvious except the two cracks as per picture

@debi91941 looks good and nothing obvious. Now, unplug the TV and disconnect the main board from the power board (CNM802?). Now plug your power cord back into the TV. This should get the backlights to come on. You can see those light up through the numerous holes in the back sheet metal of the panel.

@oldturkey03 I have followed your instructions above and the backlights come on. May I ask where you got the CNM802? from?
