@troymason65137 First you need to verify that you have no image on all inputs. Try all of those. If it remains dark, unplug everything that is plugged in the back of your TV. unplug the TV and push the power button for about one minute, then plug it back in. See if that resets your TV.

If it remains dark, turn the TV to a channel where you can hear the sound. Next, use a flashlight and shine the beam at an angle against the screen (do that in a darkened room). See if you can make out shadows or shapes. If you do, then it is your backlight that has failed. If you do not see anything, unplug your set and remove the back cover. Then visually check the boards for any obviously damaged components.

Now you can check the backlights by disconnecting the power cable from the power board. Disconnect the cable from the main board to the power supply. reconnect the power cable.Check for the backlight turning on (you can see the backlight through eh numerous holes in the metal of the back panel.

Backlight Test :
1. Activate Backlights Test : Disconnect Lead Cable from Main to Power Supply.
Check TV Screen for active backlight LEDs.
2. If No Backlights
Check Minus (Control) pins & Plus (Supply) pins voltages on the Panel Connector. (with fine test probe on left side of connector only for safety)
• If no pin voltages replace SMPS.
3. If Backlights ON BUT PANEL SECTION(S) OFF
Check The Supply Drive (+) pins and (-) pins. All should measure same.
• If a Minus (-) pin measures low (near 0 volts), a string(s) of LEDs are likely open.
Check Replace Panel.
• If a (+) pin measures low voltage.
Check Defective SMPS

Check all the wiring and unplug the wires and plug them back in, make sure they are properly seated. Post some images of all of your boards with your question. Since you will have to check the boards etc. You will have to remove the back panel. Now take some good pictures of all of the boards and post those with your Question. That way we can see what you see. Let us know what you find out.
