Things to try to resolve the problem:

• Wipe the cache partition and check if that fixes it.
• Start the phone in safe mode and check. To start in safe mode with the phone turned on press and hold the Power button until the Power off option appears. Then tap and hold on Power off until the "Reboot to safe mode" option appears.

If it works OK when in safe mode, a downloaded app may be the cause of the problem. The trick is to find out which one. You will need to uninstall each downloaded app one by one and test the phone in normal mode between each uninstall, to check if it works OK or not. When it does the last downloaded app that was uninstalled was the culprit. A downloaded app is one that you downloaded and installed and wasn't already pre-installed on the phone when you got it.
