When I switch on all I get is a half black half white screen. Pressing Any button on remote or on the back panel does nothing. I have tried the vol - and yellow buttons to get into test pattern, the white side seems to alter in intensity but that's all. Any ideas?

@johnedward41136 this can be a panel error, a cable issue or a T-con/main board issue. There are a few things you can do but to go through those we would really need to see your boards. Unplug your TV and remove the back cover. Then take some really good pictures of all of the boards and cables first, tehn a couple of the individual boards. You will have to separate the LVDS cables from the driver boards, one at a time, the determine which side of the screen is giving your TV these issues.

@johnedward41136 sounds like the left side is still working but the right is not. Remove the T-con board (picture 1 Left board with the two ribbon cables attached to it) from the metal enclosure. Make sure that you have access to a multimeter, since we are going to measure some voltages on your board.
OK no problem, I'm working nights, so won't be able to do anything till later.

I have disconnected the ribbon cables one at a time from the main board, when I disconnected the one controlling the left side all I got was a totally black screen.
When i disconnected the right side one no change.
