I just got a new Blu View 2 model phone. I tried to download several compasses into it, and all of them said it was not capable, because the magnetic sensor isn't present. Is there a way to use GPS or Wi-Fi or something to cause one to work from an app?l

@robbiem423 without a magnetic sensor (magnetometer) no compass-capable app will work. You could try apps like Locusmap etc but those need location services (either cell towers or GPS) and require movement, to calculate direction. Again, not a Compass. If you need a compass, get a compass that is not relying on your cell phone. they've made those centuries before cellphones :-)
