@katarinabluu that will depend on where you are and what your labor costs are. The goal for iFixit is to empower anybody to fix their own devices. That means that here you can get guides, help, and advice to fix your laptop. It is very difficult for us to give you an objective answer. We usually refrain from giving any recommendations unless we know the repairer and their commitment and integrity to the mission.

Anyhow, take a look at this video and for a slightly different model on here It is a bit tedious but not very complicated. Maybe you can do it yourself with the help of this great community. Displays are available from around USD$100-$150 (depending on model etc.) which if you do it yourself, would be the cost for the repair. It'll be at least double that if you need a repairer.

Here are some images showing the Asus part numbers for the TP412UA and TP412FA models, LCD displays.

Search online using the appropriate part number only for your particular model to find suppliers. That will give you an idea of the price of the replacement part. After that you have to factor in the labour cost unless you do it yourself.

Usually the part number can be found somewhere on the back of the display (if accessible) if you wish to verify the number.
