How to replace bad charging ports
The charging ports do not charge battery any more. Impossible to find anyone who will work on it. Any information, tips, etc are greatly appreciated.

Hi Cynthia!
So its fairly easy to access/replace the charging port. The laptop uses T5 Screws. I found a teardown video that should guide you (at 5:20 in the video is when he starts removing the charging port)
This is what the part will look like in the computer. If you can send me the model number, I can find an exact part for you!

Well I will suggest you to change the old port with the new one and if your not able to do it by your self then you can take help of any technician who has the knowledge of replacing the part and change the port without damage your device.

That YouTube link, is not a video about removing a "charging port" its just a USB A port that is completely unrelated
still have not found any guides to replace the charging, USB C Port

I found a few videos about repairing or replacing the USB-C charging port(s) on Huawei laptops.
It takes a bit of skill, and at least one of the videos says that it's only a temporary fix that will probably fail again within the year.
