iPhone SE (1st Gen) replacement

Can Apple service centre provide me with a new iPhone SE 1st generation if I pay the full price? Or will they only replace my iPhone SE 1st gen (multiple issues) with a refurbished one at a price?

Can Apple service centre replace black iPhone (multiple issues with phone) with silver one if I want silver colour? Or they will only replace it with black?

Also, what are some good places online to buy refurbished iPhone SE 1st generation?

When does iPhone SE 1st Generation become vintage? 64Gb was discounted more than 5 yrs ago while 32 GB 4 years back as per wiki. Can the hardware incl battery and entire phone be replaced after it becomes vintage?

Hi

Right now if you were to ask apple for a refurbished iPhone SE (1st gen) they would ask you to upgrade as I don’t think they sell or refurbish this model any more

If you asked them for a replacement unfortunately they would most likely tell you to upgrade to the newest model

As for getting a replacement that’s refurbished you can find loads on eBay and Amazon but pay close attention to who you are buying it from

Your phone isn’t vintage yet but when it becomes vintage you can still get parts online for various retailers

As for you currant phone if you tell us what wrong we could help you fix it but that’s entirely up to you

Thanks mate for the help. Is it possible to get Apple original battery from ifixit or anywhere else after the product becomes vintage or I will have to buy a duplicate/local/cheap/chinese battery?

Yes

I find the best battery’s come from iFixit and Replace base

They aren’t original but they are great quality and they closest you will get to a original one

You can even get them after they become vintage:-)

Thanks for the quick revert. One last thing-I don't like rose gold colour of my phone. So, is there a way I can make it silver either using some spray or is there a back panel available? Can 5s panel be used in SE as I have a silver 5s.

I would use a spray unless you really know what you are doing

You can use your 5S housing as they are slightly different

What you can do is replace the housing(there really cheep on eBay)

Or buy a iPhone SE(1st gen)skin

The skin is like a high quality sticker

A bit like a vinyl wrap for a car except it’s way easier to apply:-)
