This is not a good question because it gives no history or info relative to when and what was tried to troubleshoot it.
Best guess is a broken lead wire, usually close to an end or connector connection.
Least likely is something internal to the headset unless the mike boom has been move a lot to extreme positions.

My guess is an intermittent mike may be the result of wire damage. You may have to carefully disassemble the headpiece containing the mike and wiring to examine for wire damage, especially at the point(s) of flex. If visible wire damage isn't seen then a continuity test to each wire of the mike is needed to determine which wire broke inside insulation. Soldering skills would be needed to repair wire damage. If you find and repair damage, try it first before reassembling everything, exercising mike movement to ensure the repair is complete.
