So the analog stick on my 3ds xl will register every direction except up and all other buttons work on it still after a clean but the analog up acts like I'm not doing it but down left and right work fine anyway to fix or will it need a replace?

@lordcarlton since it is not working in a single direction my response would be to replace it. Of course check the connector and the ribbon cable as well, just to make sure those are ok.
