My 80inch Sharp all of a sudden black screen.

Hi.
My Sharp lc80le646s died all of sudden, the screen was in standby mode and when I powered it up, it would brighten up and stay black.
I’ve done all the reset and hard reset advice found by google without any changes.
I’ve checked all external wires and connections and they seem ok, I can connect devices to any HDMI and the sound would go through and the backlight seems to work when I change AV-mode, all settings and settings key on the remote seems to work as intended but the LCD seems to be dead since it’s just dark.
Anything I can do so repair it as a DIY project or is this a no saver ?

@digital you may or may not get this fixed (if it is a bad panel or driver board it’s going to be a negative fix) but we can at least try.

If you are 100% sure that your backlight is on and you have sound, my prime suspect would be the T-Con board. Sharp part number should be DUNTKF975FM18 (KF975). It is of course possible that this is a bad main board (I have seen GPU’s that have come un-soldered and shifted as well as over heated doing similar things. Test every video input source (HDMI, RGB, Coax, etc.) Remove the back cover from your TV and post some really good pictures of your boards and wiring with your QUESTION. That way we can see what you see what you see. For now T-con board remains my prime suspect but go ahead and follow the trouble shooting for the No Video condition documented here LC 80LE646E S Service Manual
