i factory reset the chromebook because it was an old school chromebook and the screen went dim but the brightness was all the way up, I can’t afford to fix it if I have to pay for it, is there any really cheap or free way to fix it?

@emi00 depends on how dim is dim. It is possible that this is a backlight error or a panel LED driver error. We would have to see what your display shows you and how dark it is. Post some pictures of what your screen shows you. Edit your QUESTION and use this guide 在已经存在的问题里加入图片
