will not fill with the Water and is displaying LF

We need the model that you have but is is likely one of two things. The water level sensor or the switch that allows water to flow in from either hot or cold. Also you may just need to clear the code so unplug it for a hour and retry. The switches get sticky with buildup over time. If you get us the model we can direct you to more resources and parts

LF in the display

When "LF" is displayed, there could be an issue with the water flowing into the machine. Check the water inlet hoses to be sure they are not clogged or kinked. You may also need to check the screens on the washer water inlet valve. This means shutting off the water supply, and disconnecting the water inlet hoses from the washer. Once the hoses are disconnected, you may have to scrape the sediment from the screens using a knife or sharp object.
