Motherboard removal issues - first timer

It's this corner. The metal fastener holding in USB is not holding it back.

Not sure what it reason this corner doesn't come out. Trying to reset bios password by short circuiting a chip… because deleted a partition I was booting from, trying to delete Linux with partition tool..(Whoops)

While you're here this is necessary right? To reset BIOS password
